July 27,1999
Meeting called to order at 1900 by Chairm~n John Smith.
Members present were;Bill Brennan,Roy Zahm,and Bob Spannagle
Guests present ;F. Wagner, J. Schlabs,Kr0nmiller,B. &D.Powers, etal.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
No bills were presented.
Riley Cooke wants us to pay him $1,500.00 for parking our snowplows in
his empty open hangar for three months last winter. Referred to our Arrornsy.
Jeff Schlabs responded to questions posed to him in a letter f~om Chairman
Smith. They are continuing to use the East hangar area as a jump zone contrary
to our e~rlier agreement. The crux of the problem is that Sehlabs and Donavan's
skydiving groups cannot get along well e~ough to use the same drop zone.
Dave amd Bobble Powers stated that as pilots they could see no problem.
A motion was made by Brennan that we allow them to continue jumping on
the east end as long as they control vehicle traffic and there are no pilot
compla~tsoWe will monitor ~ comments from Airport users and may revoke
this privelage at a~ time. Seconded by Zebu,passed.
Kent Potter complained about weeds growi~ in the runway. We will spray them.
~el tax(5~/gal.)is not being pa~d ~y self fuelers. There were allegations
that a certa~ agri~ultura~ operato~ is selling gas at the Airport. Will
ask the State to investigate.
