Minutes of the special meeting oP Ju1y 19th wire read. Motion way
made by Kilpatrick acid seconded by Rodgers that the minutes be approved as
read. Motion carried.

The presiding officer then called a recess for the purpose of studying these

Motion was made by Aodgera t~ncl seconded by Metzger that the claims be allowed.
Motion carried.
Certain reports of the Citg of Laurel, Montana, were pr~~~nted for
approval a.~ follc>wss City Clerkrs Cash report, Library reports for June and July, City Glerk~s Tris]. Balance and the pity Treasurer's Financial report.
Motion was made by Metzler and seeond~d by (~cxner that these reports be approved..
Motion carried.
Report of the Police Jude and reports of the patro]~nen were presented
for approval. Motion was made by Easton end seconded by K3.lpatr3ck that these reports be approved. Motion esrr3.ed.
Ea.~ton stated that he would like t0 commend t ie City Engineer on the
quality and quantit~r of work that h~ had put in on the compr~hens3.ve plan.
Met~g~r stated that he agr~eci.
Met~g~r mentioned the doh catcher, and the charges that are be3.n~ made by Dr. Turcotte. Question arose as to whether or not the dog catcher is doing
the fob requ3.r~d.
Eberavill~r reported youngsters can bicycles rid3.ng around 3.ri the inter-
seatiana whin the fare s3.ren ~;oe~ off. Kilpatrick suggested a possible safety
~duc~.tion program ~t the schools when school convenes.
Sanitaz~.sn Allen Bond appeared before the council to ~~k what if any-
think the council h~.d dec3.ded on jo~in~ a garbage district. It was the op3.nion
o~ the council that decision could not be made at this time..
There being no further business to came before the council a~ th:1~ session, emotion w~.s dia]:y made aid seconded that the muting be ad3ourned.
