The minutes of the prev3.ous meeting were read. Motion w~..a m~.de by
Burns and. s~;condecl by Metzger that the minutes b~ approved as read, with the
addition of Bob B~.rna name added to the m~:n who attended the con~ol dat~on
meeting in Billing. Motion carr3.ed.
Sanitation report wa.~ prQ~ented for approval. ~i~~ion made by Parker
and seconded by I~.lpatrick ~h~.t this report be approved. ~iation Barr ~d.
Parker also stated that Al Bond had done a fine aob concerni~.g the dump.
Certain reports for the month of i~eembe~ were pr~~ented as follows: City Clerks Cash Reports City Clerk's Tri~.l Balance, and City Trea~urer'~
~'inaneial Statement. Ntotion made by ~elaYr~ and seconded by Metzger that th~~e
reports be approved. Motion e~.rried.
Police Judge's report for the month of December way presented for
approval. Motion made by Rodgers and ~~conded by Burns that we aecep~ this
report. ~~otion carried.
Parlor asked perm3.s$ on to leave the state. Motion made by
Kilpatrick and second~sd by Metzger that perm3.ssion b~ granted. Motion
carried.
Ebersv3.11er reported on. the dog c~.tcher situation. He ~t~.ted th~.t
2 applicatior~~ had been received; (1) N~.r. David Beattie, (2) Mx. Bi11 Call~gan~ Thy committee recommended Mr. Calligan, who would gel $110.00 per month end
work 3 hrg. per day for ~ d~.ys per week. Alsa he would receive $1.~0 per doh.
He would be allowed to use the City Truk ar~d the Caty's gas. Kilpatrick
moved that the recommendation of the com~i.ttee be accepted along with the
Po13.ce Committee to decide wh~.n he will start. Seconded by Parker. Motion
earr3.ed.
Dave Pourar~ app~arc~d before the Council and asked p~,~m~.s~ion to
send ~ men to Fire Ch3.~,f's Convention in Billings. It cost $$.~0 per marg..
Mot3.on made by Metzger and seconded by Burns that we send 3 men to this
conv~r~tion. Motion carried.
John Da3ey asked permission to leave the state. Nio~ion made by
darker ar~d seconded b~ Rodgers. Motion carried.
Daley brought up t2~~ subject of are. application for planning grant.
This application hay to be sent in before the end of the month. St has to
do with weigh3.ng trucks; haw much volume they are handing« It i~ ~.so
Countytai.de study boo. Parker moved that the Mayor, City Engir~e~er, o~ C~.ty
Clerk go ahead ar3d sign the app].ica.~ior~ for study. St was seconded by
K3.lpatrick. Motion carried.
Behm complimented the people responsible for the painting of City Hall.
There being no further bus3.ness to come before the council ~t thas
time, ~.ot3.on way duly made sand seconded that the meeting be adjourned. ~o~ion
carried.
