A Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Ntontana,
was held in the Council Chambers, and called to order by Mayor Larry D. Herman, I, at 5:00 o'clock, P.M., on Tuesday, December 27th, 1977.

Council members present: Albert Ehrlick Harold Burns
Thomas Kilpatrick. Donald Meyers Charles Rodgers Susan Carter
Ronald Massey Ervin Metzger
This meeting was called for the specific purpose of considering the bids for.
renovation of the Water Treatment Plant advertised for January l8, I977.
Ken Beven reported on the finances and money available at the present time. After discussion, the following Resolution was presented.
RESOLUTION NO. 1659
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID BY THE CITY OF LAUREL TO COP CONSTRUCTION CO., BID
RELATING TO PHASE I, RENOVATION OF THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT, IN THE APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF $114,679.00 ~

Motion by Alderman Meyers: To accept the bid from COP Construction
Co. for phase I, in the approximate amount of $114,689.00 plus con-
sultant fees of $11,715.00 and that the Mayor and City Clerk be Given
authority to enter into a contract with COP Construction. Seconded by I Alderman mss. Carried.
There being no further business to come before the council at this
session, the meeting was adjourned.
