Proposal for the general ledger system is a "double
entry" type which could accommodate g9 different departments.
Cost is $150.00 per month based on current activities. No conversion cost if an audit has already been performed. This
system would provide an original plus two copies of each
monthly report included in the $150.0.0 charge. Extra copies
would have a minimal charge perhaps $20.00. Input would
be on a daily basis. Temporary runs would be available at
an additional charge based on computer time roughly $60.00 an hour. A temporary run would probably take 10--15 minutes,
at $30.00--$40.00.
No official council action taken. Committee to come
back with a recommendation for council consideration.
Mr. Milligan to arrange an evening session for council members to look over the system.
