A Special meetfng of the City Council of the City o£ Laurel, Montana,
was held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Larry D. Herman,
at 7:00 o'clock, P.M., on Monday, August 8,.1977.
ROLL CALL:
Council members present: Albert Ehrlick Thomas Kilpatrick
Donald Meyers Charles Rodgers
Susan Carter Ronald Massey
Arvin Metzger
Council members absent: Har~id E. Burns
This meeting was called according to law for the specific purpose of
tentatively passing the mi11 levy for General and Specific Taxes for the coming
fiscal year 197?-1978.
RESOLUTION N0. ,1616:
Motion by Alderman Meyers: .That the levy set for the General Fund at
the limit of 65 mills. Specific levy to be T6.5 mills-as follows:
F.A.P. Complex Bds.-------11 mills
Firemen's Disability------1.5 mil~.s
Water Reservoir Bds.------3 mil}.s Ambulance-----------------1 mi11
Seconded. by Alderman Massey. Carried.

- Motion by Alderman Metzger: To pass this preliminary budget. Seconded by Alderman Ehrl.ick, Carried.
Mayor commented on the above being a,bare-bons budget, and based
on the amount of last year's mill levy.
There being no fur~Eher business to come before the cQUncil at this time, meeting was adjourned.
