A regular meeting of the Gity Council of the City of Laurel, Mont.,
was held in the Council Chambers, and was called to order by May6r Larry D.
Herman, at 7:00 o'clock, P.M., on Tuesday, July 5, 1977.

INDt.TSTRIAL BOND REQUEST FQR CENEX:
i From a Mr; Wayne Hester of Dain, Kalman and Quail, for the Independent ~I
Refinery Improvements. The City Attorney being out of town, the Mayor stated
we would wait on this.
S.I.D. NO. 97:
Alderman Ehrlick stated that the mater of S.I.D. No. 97 was scratched
as of now.
S.M.F. PARTNERSHIP ZONE CHAbtGE ]2EQUEST: I
Motion by Alderman Kilpatrick: To take the S.M.F. Partnership zone change xequest of€ the table. Seconded by A}.d~rman Metzger, Carried.
Alderman Carter called far the question. Vote was Metzger, Carter, ~
Rodgers and Kilpatrick "YES", and Burns and Ehrlick "Nd". Not 3/4 of the council,
and a zone change was 8enied.
RESOT,UTION NO. 1509
BEING A RESOLUTION OF INTENTiE7N TO VACATE CERTAIAI LANDS, NAMELY THE ALLEY AND
SOUTH 2ND STREET ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BLOGT~ 3d, EAST YELLOWS'~ONE SUBDIVISION.
Motion by Alderman Rodgers: to adopt Resolution No. 1.6x9. Seconded
by Alderman Carter. Carried.
Groshelle: ZONE CHANGE REQUEST:
From R-1 interim zoning to C-2 (old drive-in) the €ollowing described
property:
N 630' of the W. 3$8.09"' of Lot 4 and the N. 630' of the
E. 346' of Lot 5, Westbrooks Subdivision (IO~Aj, located
3/4 mile west of the Citv of Laurel.
Motion by Alderman Ehrlick: To grant this zone change. Seconded by
Alderman-Kilpatrick. Carried.
The Mayor directed the City County Planning Board to made a recommendation
on that property on the old Highway 7.0 to the West Interchange.
MIKE ROMEE ZONE CHANGE REQUEST FROM R-1 TO C-2 FOR PAINT AND BODY SHOP:
Motion by Alderman Rodgers: To grant zone change request for lots
9 and 10 in Black 13, address 506 Fir Avenue. Seconded by Alderman
Kilpatrick. Motion carried wi~.h Alderman Burns voting "NO".
