May 10, 1977 ~
A Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
was held in the Council Chambers, and was called to order by Mayar Lary D. i
Herman, at 7:Q0 o'clock, P.M., an Tuesday, May 1.U, 1977. ~I
Upon taking roll call, the following aldermen answered present:
Susan Carter Ervin Metzger Charles Rodgers Bab Burns
Tom Kilpatrick Don Meyers

This Special meeting was called specifically for the purpose of meeting with I~
representatives of the Boise-Cascade Corpara~.ian. David Norris and Park j Benjamin appeared far Boise Cascade. Resolution No. 1601 was presented and ~I
read by title only.
RESOLUTION NO. 1601

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $2,7$0.00 INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS OF THE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA, FOR THE PT,IRPOSE OF REFUNDING OUTSTANDING $2 600.00 CITY OF LAUREL, Mt7NTANA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOP-
MENT REVENUE BONDS, SERIES A (B(7ISE CASCADE CORPORATION PROJECT) DATED SEP'I'A,- -
1, 19'l~; AUTHORIZING THE EXEELTTION OF A LEASE AGREEMENT, A REFUNDING AGREEMENT,
A TRUST INDENTURE, A BOND PURCHASE AGREEMENT, AI~iD AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT AND
THE ACCEPTANCE flF A REPRESENTATION AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT IN CONNF:ION THERE-
WITH; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. I
I Motion was made by Metzger and seconded by Meyers to adapt this Resolution. 'i
Upon taking roll ca11 vote, all aldermen present voted "Aye", and said Resolution i,
was declared passed and adopted.
Resolution Na. 1602 was presented and read by title only.
RESOLUTION NO. 1602
A RESOLUTION APPQINTING THE 130RTHERN TRUST COMPANY AS AGENT TO REPRESENT CITY
OF LAUREL, MONTANA IN CONNECTION WITH THE. PURCHASE OF INVESTMENT SECURITIES WITH 'I
'I'HE PROCEEDS OF THE CITY'S INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS ( BOISE 'I
CASCADE CORPORATION PRCkTECTj, SERIES 1977.
Motion was made by Metzger and seconded by Rodgers that this Resolution be adopted.
Upon taking roll call vote, all aldermen present voted "Aye", and said Resolution I
was declared passed and adopted.
There being no further business to come before the council this evening, the meeting was adjourned.
