A Sp~.cial Me~*tin~ of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, was
h~.7.d in the Courie3.l Chambers and was called to order by Mayor Lour l~f. YQVetieh, at 7s00 o~cleck~ P.M., c>ri Tuesday, April 8~ 197.
Upon taking rill calls the following ald~rn~en an~w~,red present:

This special meeting was called for the purpose of canvassing the ballets of
the April 1, 1975, city election, h~1d in ~fln~unction with the bond election.
The ballots were eanvas~ed as follows

FOR ALDERMAN: Larry Herman - - - - 131

Motion was made by Goner aid .~~conded by Metzger that the esnva~s of the votes
in the First ward be ~cc~pted. Motion carr3.ed.

Motion way made by Burns and seconded by Kilpatrick that the canvass of the
votes on the bond issue be ~.ceept~d. Mot3.on carried. Mention was made by
Kilpatrick and seconded by Eberswille~ that tie votes east for ~lde~nan in
the second ward b~ declared a tie. Motion carried.

Motion was made by Rodgers and seconded by Burns that the official count of the
ball~?ts in the Fourth Ward b~ ac~ep~ed. Motion carried.
City Clerk to issue Certificates of Election to all parties e1~c~ed.
There being n~ fur~h~r business to cane befmre the eou~cil at thi$
session, motion was made by Metzger and second~;d by Hard that the meeting be
adjourned. Motion carried.
