approval as follow : City Glerk's Cash Report, City ClerkFS Tris1 Balance and the pity Treasurer's Financial State~~nt. Mmtio~ was ~~.de by Eb~rsv3.ller
and ~eaondesd by Metzger that these repmxrt~ be apprmv~d. Motion carried.
Police Report far J~n~ary wa.s presented far approval. Motion waa~
made by Rodgers and ~conded b~ Burns that this report bps approved. Mmt3o~.

Letter way re~.d from the Laurel Herbstfes~ C it~ee requesting
that the Mayer prcacla3~ the week ~f. Sept. 21st through the 28th ~s H~rb$~fes~t
week. Mention way z~ade by Ebep~viller and sECOnded by Rodgers to pr~elai~
this week a~ H~rb~tfest week. Mati~n ~~rriesd.
The Mayor Mated that he would like to a.~point Otto Preikszas t• the ~~etery board. Motion was made by Kilpatrick and ~eeonded by Metzger
t~ accept this reca~aend~tion. Motion carried.
Letter wa.~ read frees the Dept. of Health and Envir~ra~en~al Sciences
regarding the sanitary landfill. Zt was r~por~~d that the landfill ~s~ in-
~p~cted on January 1lt, 1975 rind the overall appearance anal operation 0~ the sanitary landfill 3s expellent. K~.lpatr3el~ ~uggest~d that a copy of the
lett~:r and ~ congratulatory letter be sent to the operators at the landfill.
The Mayor read a letter from Dave McC~llot~gh concerning the 10
inch fire main ~xxtention franc South First Avg. ~a.~t to Mont. Ave. and through
Bore Cascade property t~ the approxi~a~e l~ati~n mf bolo. Ave. and then ~
north to a p03nt of ter~ni.nation on Railro~.d Street. McCu1l~u~h stated ghat ~i a representative frc~ Boise Cascade called him end paid that Bmis~ Cs~cade

the next council meeting we will advertise for another trucks but nm~ cancel ~ our present girder.
Dione smith reported on the 8th Ave. Park. She st~.ted that D€srigold ~
Farms will sign a ltd year agre~mer~t for the clmsing ~f South E~.gY~~h Avg. The
eQUncil felt 1D years would be sufficient time to continue plans for c~atir~g
the park,, snd that once the parr i~ established probably would nit be disturbed.

Metzger made a m~tian tv go along with the recc~nendation of the park baa~xd
and s11~w dancing year round. Seconded by Kilpat~.ck. R~11 ca11 vote was
taken with Metz~er~ Geer, Rodgers and Kilpatrick voting aYE3~', axed Burns, Ebersviller sad Easton ~~ting "PTO". Motion carried f'~ur t~ three. The

Metzger reported a cc~sm3tt~~ meting with the ].oval study c~nmiss~on
Monday night t~ sli.scus~ in-kind services t~ be furnished bar the city. Thy

letter to Montana Power requ~stin~ s street light in this area. Motion carried.
Easton reported on the drainage problem in phis area.
Eaton stated that game 0f the new men have been trimming tree and there h~,ge been ec~nplaint~ from .~ev~ral of the r~siden~~. It way s~gg~sted

Dick Met~~er Mated that h~ hay had requests frc,~ the pe~pl~ why
paid $15.0 far their remote reader to have their money r~fu~ded. City

the rem4ts were installed at the request of the user.
Lenhardt reported ~ha~ Dr. Wiesner would be up Thro~r~day evening at
5:3Q to glue the final. results on the Polio applicants. All aldermen and Mayor welcome to a~te~d this meeting.
