Bid for the purchase of certain city lots way pre~~nted as fellc~ww~:
"W~stern propert3.es~ a partn~r~hip~ would like to submit bid for purah~.a~ of
lots numbered 11 through 16 in Black 9, Yauag~s ~ecottd Subclivision for the
~Gota1 stem of $6,~3~.~0. there was raen~ion of S.I.~.'s for csity water aril
sewer service. Ater d3.~cu~.cion, motion was made by Kilp~.triek and s~cond~d by Radger~ that a letter be written and till the bidders that the lots will be
sAld as is. Motion parried.
City Attorney was called on t~ report on ~h~ application for the
~59~000.0~ in discretionary funds frame HUD. He rep0r~ed that the applic~.tion
in in Washington D.G. and Mr. Twc~neg tiaill be back ~baut the 7th or 8~h of February.

Kilpatrick reperted that the yard at the cem~tesr3~ seemed tm have

Ki.lpatriek mentioned parking soutY~ of main street for truck parking.
This por~i~n of the street belongs to the Highway Depar~an~nt.
f~c~ner brought up the sub~e~t of the ~-hour parking ard3nances. They
are not ~nforc~ad he says. I~enhardt reported on this matter. Easton sated
that the City way in the proc~s~ of putting up sins, end re-painting ~trip~:s,

the spring.
Rodgers introduced John Link, of E.F. Link A~~oe3ste$, architectural firma, and req~e~ted that an agreement he signed w3.th the firm ~o they ~~n start
preliminary plans fir the Fire Dept~rtment -Ambulance -Police Department Cc~n-
plex. Motion Kos thin made by Metzger and seconded by Burns to a;ecep~ the
agreement and request that the Mayor sign this agre~me~t. Ma~3~ carried.
Burns ~s~ed abmut the Garbage truck. Metzger reported o~ this.
Resolution No. 7~, being resolution intention to extend the
city 13~its t~ include all of lets 11 thru 1~ in Block one, all of 1mt~ 7 thru
12 in Block Two, all of 1~ts ? thru 10 and 1~ 16 ire bloe~ 3, lots L~, 5, 16
end 17 in block four, and all of bl~ks 6 and 7 in ~,~urm~.e Subdivision was
pre~~nt,~:d. Motion was dull made snd seconded that this resolution be passed and adopted. Motion carried.
~ Plat of Harlan Lund, requesting to make three lots frc~n four lots
1 ~ was preser~~ed. Appreved by the Zoning Board. Motion way duly made end
~ ~ ' ~ seconded th~.t this plat be approved. Motion carried.
Rodgers asked that the muter Qf the sewer backing up on certain
property be ref~s~red to the Public Works Cc$nmitte~. Thi.~ could be po~gibl
the Cityt~ r~sponsibilit~. Dick M~t~ge~ repos~ted on ~Ghi~.

Plant. Motiem was made by . Kilpatrick snd seconded by Easton that the Mayor
b~ authar~.zed to .sign the agreement with HKM. Motion carried.

M~t~ger reported on a certain user outside the city limits who wishes
to have a ~em~te reader p~zt out on his fence. Kilpatrick stated that he would
contact this person - te11 him ghat he co~zld dig the trench, encase the wire,
at .his o~rra expense. Thy ~rat~r us~;r agreed to ~h3s~ provided that the Water Off3ee not estimate the reading any h~.~her thaxi it is at the present, at least
until springy.
Kilpatrick asked for a water committee meting for Tu~sday~ February

Kilpatrick Mated that the Park Committee would life to have dames held at Riverside Park a1.1 during the summer instead of cZ~si~g the etanc~ hall

City Clerk presented the applic~.tions ree~ived in her office fmr the
fob of City Engineer. Motion way ~nad~ by Easton and ~~conded by Metzger that
these appli~ation~ be turned over to the personnel cca~mittee. Motion carried.
Rheiny D3.~d~ appeared before the emzncil in regard to his request fmr
a street light, and cutting in a street. He states that there 3.s a1~m a elr~3.r~ag~;
problem.
B~ven r~pQrted that he had ordered and ree~ived certain ~gtaipment for the Se~rage Disposal Plant.
The Chairman for the Perk Cornn~is~ian asked whether or not there was
enough monesy for the purchase of another truck for the park depar~Gm~nt. This
matter way tabled. Metzger reported that the city hay a man who we»ald use h3.~
mwn. pickup, if he cmuld have the gasoline for it.
Scott Walton ~.ppear~d before the council t~ s~~~~ that he has received
hip water meter and to compliment the mere who i.xa~talled it. He stated that the
jib w~.~ done quickly and efficiently, and the men were very polite.

name be approved. Motion c~rri~d.
Marvin Carter, chaixYaan of the local study e~mis~io~ asked what way to
be provided by the city as in-kind services to match the $2,,000.0 in fur~,d~ ~
given to the ccym~niss3an by the Mate. Meeting on this matter to be held Mond~;~,
Februazy 10th in the eaunci3 ehsanbers at 7:30 o~clc~k, P.M.
City Attorney reported on vacating and abandmnin~ ~h~t p~rtio~ of the
