City Attorney was called on t~ report on ~h~ application for the ~59~000.0~ in discretionary funds frame HUD. He rep0r~ed that the applic~.tion in in Washington D.G. and Mr. Twc~neg tiaill be back ~baut the 7th or 8~h of February. Rodgers introduced John Link, of E.F. Link A~~oe3ste$, architectural firma, and req~e~ted that an agreement he signed w3.th the firm ~o they ~~n start preliminary plans fir the Fire Dept~rtment -Ambulance -Police Department Cc~n- plex. Kilpatrick snd seconded by Easton that the Mayor b~ authar~.zed to .sign the agreement with HKM. Motion carried. B~ven r~pQrted that he had ordered and ree~ived certain ~gtaipment for the Se~rage Disposal Plant. The Chairman for the Perk Cornn~is~ian asked whether or not there was enough monesy for the purchase of another truck for the park depar~Gm~nt. This matter way tabled. Metzger reported that the city hay a man who we»ald use h3.~ mwn. pickup, if he cmuld have the gasoline for it. Scott Walton ~.ppear~d before the council t~ s~~~~ that he has received hip water meter and to compliment the mere who i.xa~talled it. He stated that the jib w~.~ done quickly and efficiently, and the men were very polite.
