~lr~. Johnson ba in~mr~ed that this ist nod possible until each time a~ she b~ccaaie~ a part of the City. MotiAn carried.
The Mayor st~t~d that he wota.l.d like to appoint Mrs. Gwen ~J@~tingha~
to serve on tY~ I,~.br~r Board. Motion was made by Metzger and ~~conded by
E~.~ton that the appointment b~ ~.pprov~d. Motion carried. Motion ~r~ then made
by Kilpatrick and seconded by E~~ton that Mrs. W.W. Testers, restirir~g ~~b~r of the Board be written a litter of th~n~cs for her long service with the library.
Motion parried.
The Mayor st~.ted that he had appo3r~ted Tom Ludwig to serve ors the
Lflcal Goverrm~ent study C«ission to ~erv~ with the two elected m~r~ber~,
Marvin Csrter end K~nne~h I~age~an. H~ then stated that th~are would b~ an
organizatimnal meeting of phis c~mi~sion to be held on Monday, December 23rd in the eotancil ehar~bers at 7:OD o~clock~ P.M.,, ar~d di.~e~ted the City
Clerk to informs ~h~~e members.

Easton reported ~h~t the Fire Department h~.c3 managed to save Mrs.
S~ith~~ f~vori.te trey. Easton also made the motions seconded by Gamer ~ha~ Santa Clain be given two dayrs off with pay to continue hip dutiea. Motion
carried.
