A Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurels Montana,
was held in the Council Ch~nbers~ and was called to order by Mayor Yovetich
at 8:10 P.M., on Monday, June 10, 1971•
L'pon taking roll call, the follow .n& aldermen answered present:
Gay Easton Tom Kilpatrick L. H. ~,bersviller, Sr. Check Rodgers
Bob Burns Henry Gc~nner Erv3_n Metzger
This special meeting was called for the purpose of mretin~; representa- tives from the firm of Boise-Cascade,, which firm is desirous of locating in
Laurels and for hearing an explanation of TnduStrial Revenue Bonds. Mr. Florion
Wood, Assistant to the General Mana.~er, Ernie Eas+~ Assistant to the GEneral
Colan.cil, Dave Morriss manager of financial ~tuclies, and Robert Cope, Vice
President of Thornton, Farish & Gauntt~ Ray Stevens of the Yellowstone Bark
in Laurels and al~r. F'enter, a representative of Dain, Kalman & Quai1~ Minn.,
appeared before the council to speak on this matter. The next item needed is a Resolution of Intent for the City t,o issue Industrial Revenue ~3onds. City
Attorney to prepare Resolution No. 1t~69, being such a resolution. Motion
made to this effect bar Burns ~d seconded by Fbersviller that this action be
taken. ~7otion carried.
Motion was made by Kilpatrick and seconded by Ro~.gers that the meeting be adjourned. ~Fotion carried.
