A Special meeting; of the City Council of the C~_ty of Laurel, Mont.
was held in the Council Chambers, and was c~11ed to order by Mayor Yovetieh,
at 7:2~ P.M., on Monday, June 10, I971~.
Upon takinb roll ca11, the Following aldermen answered present:
Gay Easton Tc~m. Kilpatrick E. H. Ebersviller~ Sr. Chuck Rodgers
Bob Buxms Ervin Metzger Henri Goner
This meeting was called for the purpose of discussing the charges to be made for licenses on the gaanbling issue. A model or. ~.nance passed by
-the CitST of Kalispell was used as an example. After diseu~sion, motion was
made by Kilpatrick and seconded by Metz;er that an Ordinance be adopted by
the City of Laurel to coincide with these particular charges. City Attorney
reported that the county of Yellowstone and the City of Billings were meeting
at the present to discuss uniform license fees for the entire County. Because this matter should have more study, Kilpatrick withdrew his motion -Metzger
withdrew his second. Motion was then made by Kilpatrick and seconded by
Gomer that this meet3.ng bc~ adjo~zrned. Motion carried.
