INDUSTRIAL COMPLIANCE A. The Coors Barley Storage Facility near Huntley was inspected during the barley harvest season. Weather conditions have been excellent for barley producers and Coors expects to receive 10-12% more product this year than last. IL ADMINISTRATION A. A copy of our final budget is enclosed for your review. Note that revenues do not match expenditures, but between our reserve and unused termination pay, the gap will be closed. We finished 1999-2000 with a $7,800 surplus. B. Two individuals in the Heights were sent letters stating that burning of household garbage is not allowed where a collection service is available. C. Because of very dry conditions, the County Commissioners banned open burning on July 18. D. EPA has further notified us that the EMPACT funds will likely not arrive until the end of August. III. AIR QUALITY A. Smoke from the forest fires has reduced visibility but has not caused any ambient standards violations. The PMIO levels increased slightly towards the end of the month, but not enough to be concerned. B.
