January 14,2009
Meeting was called to order at 1900 by Chairman John Smith.This is a SPECIAL
MEETING to discuss disposition of hangars in the "old hangar area" and no other business
may be discussed or acted upon.
Members present were Bill Brennan,Roy Zahm,and Don Schlegelmilch.
Guests present were Doug Poehls,Gorvan LeDuc,Frank Felke,John Stewart,and Randy
Pfeifle.
Doug Poehls made a proposal on the Poehls/LeDuc hangar-As soon as weather permits he
will re-side the west end of the structure,paint the north and south sides to match colors,and
paint the upper half with mobile home roof paint.In his written proposal item #3 must be
changed to specify that any lease extension after ten years will be entirely up to the Airport
Authority and agreement with his proposal does in no way mandate an automatic
extension.
Felke stated that he will re-side hangar #7.Hangar #1 will be demolished.It shares a
common wall with hangar #2 so it may be a little complicated.
Kirby will re-side hangar #2 as soon as # 1 is gone.
Having heard nothing from the occupant of hangar #3 the building will be demolished.
Felt wants to sell hangar #5 to John Stewart.We explained to Stewart all. that would be
required. Stewart will look at other options in the new hangar area and if he decides to
purchase #5 he will have until. June 30,2009 to complete the restoration.Moved by
Don,seconded by Roy to approve,motion passed
Meeting adjourned at 1945.
