A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
Doris Armstrona.reported that local efforts have raised $4,227.60
through dinners, bake sales, raffles, and donations. This is
approximately 40% of the total needed.
Jim Flisrand reviewed truss plans submitted by Timberweld of
Columbus and approved them.
The building is to be 36' X 52;, with seven trusses, on a 6"
concrete slab, with 4' tail, 6" thick concrete walls as a
windbreak. Roof_ will be of 241 X V decking, tongue-in-groove,
with metal roofing.
Doris Armstrona will obtain cost estimates for all materials
for next meeting.
Joe Bradley will inquire into other grant programs from area
companies for the next meeting.
The next meeting will be Wednesday, September 6th at 2:00 p.m.
at City Hall.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:00 p.m.
