A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
The balance of the bank account is $7,381.00.
The mile of pennies is up to 1,203 feet. One mile is
equal to $844.70.
Dennis R. Washington Foundation, Inc., application was
received. Joe Bradley will fill it out.
Cenex donated $200.00.
Barry Larson from Deluxe Check Printers has not yet been
contacted.
The Palace Lanes will run a promotion on March 17th, St.
Patrick's Day, to benefit the shelter. They will raffle off a
recliner, electric barbecue, a Thom picnic table and possibly
a half of beef. The event will run in conjuction with Sonny
O'Day's party. The Committee will help man the event and sell
tickets to the promotion.
A Bingo, cake walk, and spaghetti dinner will be held on
April 20th from 5:00 o'clock pm until 9:30 pm. -It will be held
at the Graff School Cafeteria and gymnasium. The School Board
has offered to donate the facilities free of charge. Angie
Thom will write a formal letter of request to the Community
Education Program. Prizes will consist of Temple's "Dog &
Duck"- $165.00 and $50.00 worth of gasoline, plus a donated
elkhorn tie slide.

Jim will hear from Timberweld regarding the actual price
of the shelter.
The Committee is shooting for a July 1st completion date.
The raffle will be held on the 4th of July.
The Committee will sell lunch at the Heritage House on
May 19th, in conjunction with the Laurel Garden Club's spring plant
sale.
The Committee will sell hot dogs and pop at the IGA
anniversary sale. A date has not yet been set for this.
Any el(cess monies will be used for tables, barbecues
and other materials.
The Committee will make the decision about advertising
at the March 21st meeting, which will be held at 2:00 p.m.
Myhre Signs has offered the use of their post hole digger.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:45 pm.
