HomeMy WebLinkAboutThomson Park Shelter Committee Minutes 05.23.1990M I N U T E S Thomson Park Shelter COMMITTEE Date 23, 1990 Time 2:00 p.m. - May Place of Meeting -City Hall MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman- Angie Thom Edna Schwenneker Donna Kilpatrick OTHER'S PRESENT: A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by the Committee: A grant application has been sent to Montana Rail Link. Other possible resources are the Locomotive Inn, who said something could be done for the shelter in the summer months, and from Deluxe Check Printers. Both businesses will be contacted again. Since the last meeting, pay outs have been made to Lou Armstrong, $45.41 for bolts; Roderick Lumber $2,956; Stormont's for $35.00; Timberweld for $5,728; Krug Brothers for $122.00; Laurel Hardware for $579.86 for table legs and screws; Thomae Lumber for $92.00; and, Coast to Coast $78.38 for paint, leaving a balance of $3,411.00. The cost of the cement for the floor is estimated to be $2,200.00. The floor should be poured June 1st or 2nd. The tables could be donated by individuals or by businesses and a name plate installed on each donated table. Dedication for the Shelter will be finalized at a later date.
