STREET/ALLEY SOLID WASTE COMMITTEE
January 15, 1998 5:30 p.m.

Members present: Andy Loebe Larry McCann

Dirk Kroll Gay Easton
Others present: Janet LaFountain
Janet LaFountain, Training Material Supervisor for the Montana
Department of Transportation presented a program outlining road
design, road break-up, paving, road mix and lab work on soil and
gravel. She will work with Andy on a training program on soma" of
the above issues. She also expressed interest in being on the
Street/Alley Solid Waste Committee as she is also a resident )of
Laurel.
An update of the Laurel High School recycling program ' was
presented.
Dirk Kroll inquired about the status of the Caboose Saloon's moose.
It wasn't known if he has applied for an encroachment permit.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
