STREET AND ALLEY COMMITTEE
SEPTEMBER 17, 1998 5:30 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Larry McCann Ed Stephens
Gay Easton Janet Johnson
Bill Staudinger Andy Loebe
Marvin Carter
Discussed the proposed building site for Grace Bible Church on the southeast
corner of Washington Avenue and East Maryland. The committee reviewed the
drawing. Motion by Gay Easton to require proper easements, seconded by
Larry McCann. Motion carried.
Larry discussed developing an ordinance on clear vision zones in the city. Larry
will put it together and bring it back to the committee with distances, etc.
Discussion on R.R. crossings in the city and getting the State of Montana and
MRL to participate in smoothing them out.
Discussion concerning having a street assessment being made in Laurel.
Discussion regarding the 100 block of Wyoming Avenue. The street is breaking
up from trucks being unloaded. The committee turned this matter over to Larry
for review and he will bring it back to the committee.
Meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
