BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
JUNE 10, 1997 6:30 P.M.

The following 1997-98 preliminary budgets were reviewed again.
Cemetery
Street-General Fund
Parks
City Shop
Library
Fire Department
City Clerk
City Hall
Several cuts, adjustments, and transfers were made, in the amount
of $110,979.00.
The sweeping fund was discussed. Don and Jim will review the
financing for a new sweeper.
There was a lengthy discussion regarding the street maintenance
district. The committee recommended to increase the 1997
assessment from $13.00 per 4200 aq. foot lot to $21.00 and increase
the maximum assessment from $50.00 to $200.00.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:10 p.m.
