Members Present: Gary Temple, Bill Staudinger, Lorraine Craig, and Larry McCann Discussion on the water line replacement project, The project is about one week behind schedule but they are catching up. We have added about 600 feet of 6-inch line to the work. The added line runs west from 5th Ave and Railroad Street to forest and about 150 feet south on forest. Gray construction is doing the work at the unit price bid on the line. This additional work replaces a section of line that has had numerous leaks and three leaks on August I Otn Gray had been ask to replace about 1200 feet of line on Yellowstone going west on South 5th street. This request has now been dropped to the line on Yellowstone between South 5th and the freeway. Grays work schedule will determine when and if this gets done. The project start for work on South 1St Ave is the week of the 17th. This will put the project at Main and 1St Ave the first week of September. Gary Temple discussed the need to keep Main and lst Ave open or 1St Ave and 1St Street open at all time for emergency response of Fire, Police and Ambulance. Larry will make sure the Engineer and Gray understands the need. Discussion on a proposal by Gray Construction to overlay all of Railroad Street instead of patching ditches. They would give us the money back from the contract. 5th Ave would still be patched. The overlay would run from Forest and Railroad east to the end of the project. Bill Staudinger made motion to replace water lines in Railroad and in Yellowstone and do the overlay on Railroad. 2nd by Gary Temple. Passed Meeting Adjourned
