POLICE COMMITTEE

A quorum of 3 or more being present,the following action was taken by the Committee :
TCie Police Department is presently using borrowed weight equipment for it's
physical training program.It is presently being utilized by most of the regular
officers,several Reserve officera,members of the fire department,ambulance attendants,
and at least one deputy.
As the present equipment is in a somewhat dilapitated condition,the Police
Committee has authorized the expenditure of up to $500.00-from the money remaining
in the present Police training fund budget,for the purpose of upgrading the
existing equipment and purchase.of addittional equipment.
It should be pointed out that.the Police training fund is given to the City
by the State of Montana for Police training purposes and is not taken out of
local taxes.
