POLICE COMMITTEE

PLACE OF MEETING FAP
A. Members present: Chairman Chuck Dickerson
Mel Krug ,. Alan Crowe ,
B. Other's present: Mike Atkinson ,
A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Discussed problem where Mt. View Lane/2nd.Avenue/ and W. 17th
intersect. Felt that since it was a park area that maybe
changing the speed limit to 15 mph would help. It was also
felt that some other parks should be posted at 15 mph. Alan
will get with Jim to see what it will take to do this. The
parks discussed were Thompson, Nutting and Kiwanis.
Discussed stop sign at Cottonwood and. E. 4th. Committee feels
it.should remain as it is.
New budget has been turned in.
New walls between Fire Department and Police Department are
complete with exception of painting.
Meeting adjourned at 6:25 pm.
Next meeting will be May 1st.
