A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
GARAGE SALE FEES:
Discussed the $5 garage sale fee and permit. A motion was made
by Alan Crowe, second from Norman Orr, that the matter be dropped.
Motion carried 3-0.
The committee recommends to Joe Bradley that no ordinance be
created and recommends to the Council that the matter be dropped.
TRAFFIC STUDY:
Jim Flisrand has attended a school for traffic study. Discussed
what is required for putting up new signs. Joe Bradley would
like to see information on what Billings uses. Jim Flisrand
feels a study needs to be done in order to put up "15 mph"
speed signs at Kiwanis and Nutting Parks. Also by Thompson Park
from Pennsylvania to 1st Avenue on E. 6th Street. He will let
the committee know what is needed. would also like "no parking"
signs on west side of Alder between 6th and 7th Avenue by Nutting
Park. If this is approved we could modify our existing ordinance.
