A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
Linda Davis Williams and Jim Popiel spoke to the
Committee about the "Just Say No" program at the middle
school. They would like a seminar about drugs, and what
parents should look for. The date for the seminar is
set for February 22nd at the Middle School. Alan Crowe will
schedule 2 officers to be present for the program.
The Good Sam Club will help with the Bike Safety
program.
The Adopt-a-Cop Program is going well. Pictures of
the Officers are to be posed in schools.
Discussion on the safety need for the dispatchers. Action
needs to be taken now.
Discussion on the handicap area. Area should be on the
East side of the sidewalk next to the Radio towers.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 P.M.
