POLICE & PUBLIC BUILDING COMMITTEES
April 6, 1989

A discussion took place concerning plans for remodeling
police area of FAP complex. Four (4) floor plans of the area
were presented. Motion b Darrell McGillen to accept plan #4
as a master plan, and that areas to be remodeled be broken into
phases, if the complete plan #4 cannot be done on this budget,
with the first phase being the security of the dispatch area,
seconded by Gary Temple. Motion carried 7--0.
More discussion followed concerning the need for a larger
meeting area for the Police Reserves and the ambulance training.
Suggestions made were to redo the jail area, use back cells for
holding, knock out the wall in front-cell area for meeting room,
or uses of firemen's room. It was also suggested that an addition
be added to the northeast side of the complex for the firemen,
leaving all of the west side for police and ambulance and also
an addition to the north of the building for more bay area.
