A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
The Committee reviewed the plans for remodeling the dispatch
area of the Fire-Ambulance-Police Complex. Merle Cherry will work
up a new cost figure with the changes. Changes are to omit the
brick wall and replace with a stud wall and steel plate, to
omit the electric door's and central air conditioning. Also
to omit #7 and #11.

Air conditioning is needed for the office equipment. The
dispatch area could go with a wall mount unit from the bay area.
It was noted that the Chairman strongly urges that the Mayor
and Council do not omit #7 and # 11 for the safety of the
dispatchers.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
