MEMBERS PRESENT: A quorum of three (3) or more members being present the following business was conducted; First Order of Business; A new policy concerning bomb threats was passed out, considered and implemented into regular operating procedures. Second Order of Business; Discussion was held concerning the purchasing of a new police car. Alan will check into the possibility of having one of the current cars over hauled. It was decided to wait until spring to again consider purchasing a new car. Third Order of Business; An accident summary of 1990 vehicle accidents (see attached) was distributed. Fourth Order of Business; A lengthy discussion was held concerning the police department and police reserves involvement in parking and traffic control problems associated with the Fourth of July fire works. Involvement of the Montana Highway Patrol and the possible use of their accident prevention unit. All of these ideas will be presented to the Fourth of July Committee for their consideration. It was agreed that due to the overwhelming number of people present at the fireworks it is quite difficult to please and make everyone happy. All decisions will have to consider safety as the first priority.
