APRIL 3, 1991
5.00 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Chuck Rodgers - Chairman
Lonnie Kellogg
Bob Graham
Mike Atkinson
Ron Marshall
A quorum of three (3) or more members being present the
following business was conducted;
A discussion was held concerning the position of sergeant
that has been vacant for quite a period of time. Discussion
concerned (1) rate of pay, (2) duties and (3) what procedure
the Department would have go through to get this: position
reactivated. Mike will look into this matter and report back
to the committee.
A discussion was held concerning the hiring of a patrolman
so that he can be on the job.by July 31, 1991.
A discussion was held concerning Departmental problems
concerning (1) dispatch, (2) investigations, (3) keeping the
dispatch area clear of unauthorized personnel and (4) the
position of Animal Control Officer.
Mike told the committee that he will be revising work
schedules and also that he will assign each officer additional
"extra curricular" duties so that each officer will have an
area that he is responsible for.
Meeting adjourned at 6:30 P.M.
