HomeMy WebLinkAboutPolice Committee Minutes 08.19.1991POLICE COMMITTEE MEETING AUGUST 19, 1991 PAP COMPLEX MEMBERS PRESENT: OTHERS PRESENT: Bill Brennan Andy Loebe Mike Atkinson Lonnie Kellogg Ron Marshall A quorum of three (3) or more members the following business was conducted; Andy Loebe spoke to the committee about the possibility of purchasing animal traps, for dogs,. and checking them out to individuals to catch loose dogs. He related an incident where his own dog was attacked. He borrowed a trap from Jim Fleming, Yellowstone County Dog Warden and caught the animal. It was suggested that Mike Atkinson talk to Joe Bradley about the legalities of using such a device. Andy also spoke to the committee about constructing a dog run at the City shop replacing the dog cage that is currently in use. Andy and Mike will check into the costs and possible location for this kennel. Mike informed the committee that the radio in the old Chevy is in the shop for repair. He stated that in all likelihood that it can't be fixed and that a new radio will have to be purchased. The committee told Mike to advertise for bids on a new police car.
