A quorum of three (3) or more members being present the
following business was conducted;
A discussion was held concerning a motor-home owned by
Frank and Barbara Voeller that is currently being parked at
214 East Main Street. The Voellers were advised by Cal Cumin
(see letter attached) that this address is not zoned for this
type of vehicle for use even as a temporary residence. After
much discussion the committee recommended that this matter be
referred to the Laurel City-County Planning Board for their
consideration.
Mike Atkinson reported that the new phone system is
currently being installed at the FAP Complex and should be
finished shortly. He also reported the DRUG FREE sign program
started by Jim Morrison is now being handled by Mike Zuhoski
with the assistance of Jim Worthington.
Mike was instructed to look into the costs of putting and
additional door in the police station from his office into the
Squad Room. We have the door and frame and all that would be
necessary would be the labor.
With the installation of the new floor tile, maintenance
was discussed. Ron Marshall reported that he received one bid

into the costs of pads and materials and possibly having Herb
Mohs the current custodian buff the floors. Lystad's serviced
the FAP Complex about three months ago for ants. They are now
returning.
