FAP COMPLEX MEMBERS PRESENT: Ron Marshall, Chairman Lonnie Kellogg Dan Lowell Albert Erlick Mike Atkinson A quorum of three (3) or more members being present the following business was conducted; A discussion was held concerning the newly drafted personnel manual. Mike Atkinson explained that enforcement will tie in with both the existing union contract and City Personnel Manual in regards to enforcement. Committee recommended that this manual be referred to Joe Bradley and then to the Council for approval. Discussion was held concerning a revised animal ordinance patterned after one that the City of Billings has in effect. This was also referred to Joe. See attached. Discussion was held concerning the purchase of a new patrol car. It is possible for the City of Laurel to "piggyback" under the State bid for patrol cars. Last year the City of Laurel could have saved about $3,000 if it had gone this route. The committee felt that this matter should be referred to Council for discussion due to the fact that local auto dealers will also be asked to bid. The Committee discussed remodeling dispatch area. Mike explained that with the recent purchase of the phone system with 911 monies that this matter would have to wait until after January 1, 1993. Motion made by Albert Erlick, seconded by Dan Lowell that the board for out of area prisoners be increased from $15.00 per day to $30.00 per day. Motion made by Dan Lowell, seconded by Lonnie Kellogg that both residents and non-residents be charged $5.00 for fingerprinting. Meeting adjourned 6:15 P.M.
