COMPLEX MEMBERS PRESENT: Ron Marshall, Chairman Albert Ehrlick Mike Atkinson Bill Brennan Lonnie Kellogg OTHERS PRESENT: Jeanne Stabelfeldt A quorum of three (3) or more members being present, the following business was conducted; First Item of Business The committee met with Jeanne Stabelfeldt in regards to the parking of a semi tractor at her residence at 115 Fourth Avenue. This came about as a result of a conversation between Officer Jeff Doty and Wayne Stabelfeldt in regards to his parking of a semi tractor at the above mentioned location. This residence is zoned commercial. The committee reviewed parking ordinances (see attached) and told Mrs. Stabelfeldt that she and her husband could' continue to park the tractor there until there was some determination from the City Council. The committee had questions about the following ordinances; 1. 10.44.10 The committee would like clarification on the established truck routes in the city. 2. 10.48.110 The committee questions the width restriction of 84 inches. The committee measured the fire trucks and found all of them to range from 92 to 96 inches in width at the back bumper. The committee also wanted clarification as to whether this ordinance refers to on-street or off-street parking. SECOND ITEM OF BUSINESS Mike Atkinson informed the committee that he would like White Dodge and the 1979 Ford cover car. With the arrival give the oldest Chevrolet to advised to do some further values. to trade off the 1977 Blue and reserve car and get a new under of the new police car we would the police reserves. All commercial delivery trucks in excess of two tons, trucks deliveri ng sand, gravel, concrete, dirt, rocks, building supplies, furniture, any and all other commercial products shall, when delivering within the city, use as the main thoroughfare: First Avenue, north and south, and Eighth Av- cnue. (Prior code § 10.51.0.10) 10.44.020 Parking of certain trucks prohibited. No person shall park any truck, tractor- trailer combination, or other vehicle, any of which exceeds twenty thousand pounds GVW, on any street, highway, or other public roadway except on Main Street and First Avenue north and south. It is unlawful for any person to park a vehicle in the city that has a width greater than eighty-four inches, or a total length exceeding twenty feet including load. (Prior code $10.24.110)
