OTHERS PRESENT: Jo Meccage Mike Zuhoski Matt Hoppel W. David Slaymaker John Rosenberg FIRST ITEM OF BUSINESS: Discussion was held concerning dress code for dispatch personnel. Lonnie Kellogg suggested that a code be developed. He also suggested that Joe Bradley be contacted for advice concerning facial hair. SECOND ITEM OF BUSINESS: Discussion was held concerning a proposal by the State Highway Department for installing a traffic signal at the intersection of First Avenue and First Street. Committee made no recommendation. Committee would like to see something done about eliminating left--hand turns at the corner of First Avenue and Main Street. THIRD ITEM OF BUSINESS: Committee discussed the sale of surplus cars. The cars to be sold are a 1979 Ford and a 197$ Dodge. Motion made by Albert Ehrlick, seconded,by Lonnie Kellogg the we auction these cars. Motion carried. . FOURTH ITEM OF BUSINESS: Committee was informed that the department is purchasing a 1993 Ford Patrol car from Laurel Ford. This unit is the same as the new patrol car we purchased in January. This unit will cost less than $15,000 that was authorized in the 1993--94 budget. Discussion was held concerning putting this car third in-line as to minimize the mileage for six months.
