FAP COMPLEX
APRIL 13, 1995
5:30 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Ron Marshall, chairman
Bill Brennan
OTHERS PRESENT:

Dan Lowell

Cheryl Thomas
A quorum of three (3) or more members being present the
following business was conducted:
First item of business; Discussion held among the committee
and those attending about smoking in the dispatch area. Pros
and cons about the issue were weighed and evaluated. Motion
by Bill Brennan, seconded by Dave Slaymaker, that the south
end of the bay, adjacent to the dispatch area, will be a
designated smoking area. This is to be on a temporary trail
period. If there is a problem, the committee will again meet
and consider other options. Motion carried. Mike Atkinson
will issue a directive to this effect.
Second item of business; Ron Marshall brought up the fact
that people calling the Police department are now asked to give
their birthdate in addition to their name. It was explained
that this is for record keeping purposes only and that people
do not have to give their birthdate is they so choose.
Third item of business; Dan Lowell brought up the issues
of two hour parking in the area of the Antique Mall. Mike
Atkinson said if there is a problem for him to call the
department and appropriate action will be taken.
Fourth item of business; Cheryl Thomas brought up the
issue of other dispatchers wearing perfume and the personal
problems that is causes her. Mike said for her to contact his
personally and he would address the issue.
Meeting adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
