NOVEMBER, 9, 1995
FAP COMPLEX
5:00 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Ron Marshall, chairman Albert Ehrlick
Dan Lowell Bill Brennan
Mike Atkinson Dave Slaymaker
Committee met to discuss damage that had been done to the
holding room at the police station. A juvenile had kicked
in the wall, damaged the door handle and damaged the tile in
the suspended ceiling. Mike told the committee that this damage
totaled about $380. The juvenile will have to make restitution.
He said that he received a bid from a contractor to line the
room (including the ceiling) with plywood and cover with
sheetrock would cost about $800.
Mike related that in checking with the fire chief and city
engineer that the use of plywood would not meet building codes.
It was the consensus of the committee to get more opinions,
or bids, utilizing plate steel, expanded steel or maybe
fiberglass paneling to repair this damage. Also discussed,
was the elimination of the viewing window, relocation of light
switches and outlets, and changing the lockset on the door,
Mike will call for another meeting when he gets this
information.
Meeting adjourned at 5:20 P.M.

Ron Marshall, chairman
