BOX 10 January 11, 1984 PHONE: 628-8791 PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO: Union Local #316 AFSCME FROM: Larry S. Peterson, Director of Public Works This is to clarify the correct usage of the Overtime 9// Callout List posted January 11, 1984. Callouts for the available overtime will be by calling the first person on the list who is qualified to perform the work. If we get no answer on a phone call, that person will not go to the bottom of the list but will be called first next, then the next one called will be the one next in line "under" the last one called out. If a man wants to be added to the list his name will be put on the list immediately after the last man called out. A man can add or drop from the list at any time. If the entire Callout list is exhausted without getting sufficient help, the City will then call out from the Seniority List until sufficient help is obtained. The equipment qualified list at the bottom of this Callout Sheet is an alphabetical listing only to be used for reference. This list applies only to after shift callouts. Overtime due to extending a shift will be handled as in the past.
