June 26, 1997
5 p.m.- 6:01 p.m.
Attending: Miles Walton, Jim Flisrand, Donna Kilpatrick, chairman.
Others: Greg Thomas, Little League; Carl Holobaugh caretaker at
Riverside Park, Jean Stablefeldt
Miles moved, Jim seconded that we charge the following fees for
camping at Riverside Park: $5.00 per night for camping without showers; $9.00 per
night for camping with showering facilities; and $10. 00 per night for camping with
electrical hook-ups. Rest room facilities at Riverside Park are open to the public.
Motion carried.
Greg Thomas attended the meeting to get an idea from the committee
where a storage shed could be placed in Thomson Park for storing the mowing
equipment, etc. The committee decided they would go to Thomson Park with Mr.
Thomas following this meeting and look over the possibilities.
Jean Stablefeldt asked permission to have a booth for the Laurel
Republican Woman's Club in Thomson Park during the Fourth of July but the
deadline for requesting a booth there was June 12.
Permission was granted for the United Methodist Men to hold a corn
feed in Fireman's Park Aug. 16 and for the Woods Power Grip Co. to have a
company picnic in Kiwanis Park on Aug. 16.
The meeting adjourned at 6:01 p.m.
