COUNCIL CHAMBERS

Commission met to discuss sending delegates to the school
being held by the Local Government School in Bozeman on charter
writing. After discussion, motion by Joe Bradley, seconded
by Bud Johnson to send delegates to Bozeman November 30 and
December 1.
Discussion was held in part from the minutes of the Billings
Local Governmental Review Commission in which there was talk
by the Billings members in creating or seceding from Yellowstone
County and thus create a 57th county. There appears to be a
heavy movement by the Billings group either for consolidation
or the creation of a new county.
