Motion by Ken Olson, seconded by Joe Bradley to approve
the minutes of the February 12, 1996, meeting. Motion carried.
Correspondence. Received the minutes of the February 8,
and February 15, 1996, meetings of the Yellowstone Local Govern-
mental Review Commission. Received the agendas for the February
15, and the February 22, 1996, meetings of the Yellowstone County
Local Governmental Review Commission. Received the February
1, the February 8, 1996, minutes of the Billings Local
Governmental Review Commission. Received the agendas for the
February 15, the February 21, and the February 26, 1996, meetings
of the Billings Local Governmental Review Commission. Received
the Voter Review Letter from the Local Government Center in
Bozeman.
Steve and Joe reported that the tentative draft of the
charter has been sent to Bozeman.
Discussion was held concerning getting on the agenda for
the City Council in the future to explain to the Council what
a charter would mean to local government.
Discussion was held concerning having a representative
from the Laurel Airport Authority appear before our group.
They were inadvertently left out when other department heads
appeared before our group. Contact was made with Bill Brennan.
They will have a representative at the March 11, 1996, meet-
ing.
