The May 2nd minutes of the County group talk of splitting the county into five districts with the Laurel area having it's own commissioner. No specific boundaries were set forth. Ron Marshall was directed to bring this matter to the attention of the City Council for their input and comment. Minutes of the May 6, 1996, meeting were and approved as corrected. Can the City Council eliminate the Treasurer's position without and election? 2. Does the City Council have to override the Mayor's veto at the next meeting or can it postpone it? 3.
