LAUREL LOCAL GOVERNMENT REVIEW COMMISSION
OLD COURT ROOM CITY HALL
MAY 5, 1996
7:00 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Steve Cosner, chairman Ron Marshall

OTHERS PRESENT:
Jennifer Draper, Laurel Outlook
Motion by Ken Olson, seconded by Steve Cosner to approve
the minutes of the April 26, 1996 meeting. Motion Carried.
Correspondence. Received the April 4th, and the April
18th minutes of the Billings Local Governmental Review
Commission. Received the agendas for the April 24th and the
May 2nd meetings of the Billings Local Governmental Review Com-
mission. Received the minutes of the April 11th, April 18th
and the April 25th meetings of the Yellowstone County Local
Governmental Review Commission. Received the agendas for the
April 18th and the April 25th meetings of the Yellowstone Local
Governmental Review Commission. Received back from the Local
Government Center in Bozeman our proposed charter, with their
suggestions, and various certificates necessary to complete
our work.
With the absence of Joe Bradley, the commission discussed
the future timeline until the November election. It was agreed
that we will meet every other Monday until the election with
a tentative report being rendered July 1-5, 1996, and both the
final report and public hearing being held August 19, 1996.
Steve Cosner will have the appropriate legal notices
published in the Laurel Outlook. Jennifer indicated that in
her story in the Outlook she would make mention of our next
meeting to be held Monday, At-r-? 13, 1996.
Discussion was held with Jennifer Draper about releasing
the information sent back to us from Bozeman. Even though
the committee hadn't had time to evaluate their findings, the
information was released.
Meeting adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
