Hi Steve,
I would be the BSED contact on that. The South Billings Aquatics and Recreation Center master plan has been
completed and was recently reviewed by the Billings Parks Board. It will go before City Council in the near
future. The city parks CIP includes the $25 million for this project from the SBURA for 2022, but more funding
will be needed as the estimated cost of the least expensive option is around $35 million. The Master Plan is
available on the parks' website at billingsparks.org under the About Us tab.
Let me know if you need additional information. I am out of the office tomorrow but I'll be back on Thursday.
Thom

Hi Thom and Karen,
Are either of you the primary contact at Big Sky EDA on the proposed swim complex?
Joel Bertolino, and I were asked about the status of the Billings project at the Laurel City council
meeting tonight. I have not been tracking the swim complex since the Better Off in Billings
conceptual plan that was held last spring. Looking for your insights!
Thanks,
Steve Simonson
