MINUTES OF THE LAUREL AIRPORT AUTHORITY
The meeting was called to order at 12:00 P.M. Present were John H. Smith,
Chairman, Dave Powers, Vice Chairman, Claude Cory, Secretary, Authority members,
Jim Klein and Guy Stormont. Also attending were Jim Cotter and Bill Wilson.
Meeting was called to disuss leasing land and ramp parking to Bill Wilson and
Jim Cotter. Ball informed the Committee he had purchased a 1974 Cessna 172
at Lewistown to use as a trainer. Bill stated he would provide adequate in-
surance on the aircraft. The aircraft would be available at all times for
training new students and to rent to students flying out of the Laurel airport.
Bill, also, said he would use all services at the Airport that were available.
Anything not available he would go to Billings for.
Available land was discussed for Bill to use for customer parking and to park a
trailer house to be used as an office, classroom and student pilots lounge. Two
areas were taken into consideration: One area was at the far west end of the
present parking lot and the other area was just east of McKamy's hanger. After
a le thv discussion. Dave Powers moved we grant permission for Bill to lease the
space just east of .`.cKamy's hanger. Jim Klein seconded the motion. Motion passed.
St r.on` glen moved to amend the motion that if Bill decided this space proved
unsatisfactory he could request a change of location. This seconded by Jim Klein.

Since there was no further business at this time Jim moved we adjourn. Seconded
by Claude, and meeting adjourned at 1:00 P.M.
