Minutes of the December 2a. 1982 Meeting

Meeting was Called to order by .Chairman John Smith called to order ar.
7:05 PK. Those attending the'aleating.were.Haab Olson, Dave Powers and
Claude Cory.-,Guy Stormont was absent.
Visitors attending were Tom Karr Robert Buckles representing the Sky
Jumpers Club [ary Korth.

Chairman reported,on a meeting,'beld at the planning bored Wednseday.
A public heatr3t will held.somet#i8.after the first of the year to
approve the airport sonin$.
Next order of business was the discussion to establish of guideline
for Ultra Light Aircraft that use the airport. These aircraft by the
FAA and they are entitle to uses the airport facilities as long they
follow the rules and regulations governing ultra light aircraft. No
action was taken at this meeting.
Herb Olson volunteered to read and study the new airport regulations
and report back to the authority at our next meeting.
Dave Powers asked that first street and second avenue be designated
as a helio-port. Fire department wants from the airport authority
stating they want the electric wires removed permanently. Montana
Power would have to remove the wires. Motion was made by Dave and
seconded by Claude. Motion passed.
Tom Kerr and Robert Buckles would like to move their Sky Diving Club
to the Laurel Airport. Herb informed the authority that they are air
:. space users and are entitle to use space where they donot endanger oche.
aircraft.or infringe on airport rules and regulations.
Claude was designated to aksed to Olivia of Williams if the ipaura ee
covered these activities. We were informed all jumpers were covered.
under USYA. They want to jump the weekend of January 22, 1982 and
the authority would notify them of. our approval or disapproval.
Dave made a motion were grant permission to use the airport for sky
diving for the next month and the next meeting we will review the
permission from Harvey Fox and review how the first few jumps went.
No further business to come the authority adjourned at 9:15 PM
