A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN ASSETS OF THE CITY OF
LAUREL AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING ITS DISPOSAL.
WHEREAS, the City of Laurel has inventoried assets that are no longer of use to
the City; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with MCA §7-8-4201, the Council has the authority
to dispose of these items by declaring them surplus; and
WHEREAS, these surplus items shall be disposed of.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Laurel, Montana,
That the council authorizes the disposal of the surplus items listed in Attachment
A and that the disposal method will be determined by City staff,' at a date and time to be
determined.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on August 6, 2019, by Council
Member Herr.
PASSED and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Laurel this 6`" day
of August 2019.
