June 22, 1982
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Smith at 7:15 PM Present were Chairman.
Smith, Dave Powers, rnt, Bill Brenner, and Claude Cory . Guest present:
at the meeting were Mel. Tiensvold, Rich McKamy.
Mir,utes of the previous were read. One correction was made concerning t-lira light-
ning to be dons: at the airport.. Corrected to read -a,pli::-ttioo fa?- beacon. Moti(.w
by Bill the minute be approved with the correction . Second by Dave Motion passed.
Dr Smith reported state will not buy back beacon bulbs unti.l.l. new new beacon is
installed. He also state they had a grader up to the airport to grade some of the
roadway etc. lie also reported Rich McKamy mowed t'lie weeds aroung the airport: lie
reported he applied dor a snowplow, mower., truck and anything he aazl get
Dr Smith alos reported Upperwest Aviation had paid all of the lea,,;e due iii Dec:embci
1981. Dave suggested we write llpperwest a letter stating a definite tim: fn_ Lhis
payment be paid. The amount necessary to bring his lease. current is $1;172.00.
Upperwest's performance at the airport was discussed and it was suggested by John
the secretary write Keith a letter. asking for a meet.i.n• with the authority.

1982 at the Laurel Airport. Ue reported that everythilcg was, ready except it
appeared that both airplane and automobile parking laid not been finealized but.

Jeff Doty airport manager reported on the Ultra 1..it;l;t aircraft wet`e 0;i.+:;.2, t11e
taxi way and sometime the runways for take off and landii?i;s. Jeff suggested
that perhaps we could ask them to use the grass runways north of the nri:se.nt
cast west rur?w:.ay. It is kept clipped for use most of the time anyway.
