Members attending the meeting were Chairman John Smith, Dave Powers, Herb Olson and Claude Cory Secretary, AudaGuyy,Stormont. Minutes were read and corrections was made to the minutes that the City of Laurel will not pay for the repairs to the well this year. The other correction was that Steve Ro-nines name be spelled corr- ectely. Minutes approved with the above corrections.. Dave Powers reported that the Laurel Voluntary Fire Department would respond to all fires at tha Laurel Airport and next year the Laurel Airport would joined alfire district. They may have to form a dis- trict of their own as their is no district in the area now. Herb Olson reported on'the snow plow and he stated that it was in working order now. Herb said that they would have to put a new carburetor and alternator. Chairman made a financial report and with exception of the gasoline and oil budget and the repair and maintenance which over drawn the budget had probably enough to finish out the year. . Next the old six by six was, brought up for discussion as to what we would would do with this piece of equipment. After some discussion it was decided to give it back to tha Yellowstone County as we had no use for this equipment.. Stormont made a motion that we return the equipment back to the County. Seconded by Herb, Motion passed. Discussion about the water from the well used at the airport. We receive no revaaae from this utility now. We need soma revenue to keep the well and well equipment in aepair. Stormont was appointed to 146k into the viability of a fee being charged for the use of the water at the airport by fixed base operators. Steve Remines and Dan Worth may want to erect a hanger at the air- port. Mary McKamy would like to know the inzrease in the land lease she has under lease now, No action was on these requests.
